Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 70, 1970) is a well-known American actor. She is most famous for playing Detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well as on the drama of NBC Providence. Her first major role in the series as Eleni andros Cooper on the CBS soap show Guiding Light was also praised. She has appeared in 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film by Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created the Immortals) is thought to be on the way. Additionally, she's working on a new show known as Gods & Heroes.
